New Activity: Walking with the Animals
Where: Henry Doorly Zoo
When: Every Friday morning, one hour before the zoo is open to the public
Summer: 7:30 AM Check In
Winter: 8:30 AM Check In
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a current membership to the Henry Doorly Zoo
- Be 55 years of age or older. (NO children allowed)
- Enroll in the Walking Club by sending an email to: educate@OmahaZoo.com
- Bring a photo ID/membership card and Name tag supplied by the zoo once enrolled
- Check in at Guest Services Building
BENEFITS
- You can walk with the animals every Friday or what ever Friday is convenient for you
- You can go anywhere in the park, all exhibits are open
- You may stay all day or leave when you wish
- You do not need to stay with a group, you can explore on your own.
- You get to view and talk to the zoo keepers as they feed and put the animals on exhibit
- Did I say that ALL exhibits are open
- Restrooms are clean and open
- Food kiosks will open when the park opens to the public
